Has there ever been a more divisive issue in the tech industry than crypto? Not sure I remember people quitting this eagerly over SOAP, or ad-tech, or creepy machine learning personalization

Devops friend just told me, "Two of my favorite coworkers are quitting over management's quixotic attachment to crypto." Wonder if this is gonna be a trend?

Maybe military applications. I might quit a company if my work was going to kill people.
