It's good to see that Apple was pretty prompt at fixing the FORCEDENTRY attack vector for spyware.
However, what I can't seem to find out is whether or not the update removes existing spyware on hacked phones or does it only prevent future infections using that specific method?
Yes, I meant removal of existing *known* spyware such as Pegasus.
I see a lot of reporting of stopping the exploit but can't find anything saying if it cleans known spyware should you have been unfortunate to have been hacked.
