Even with the most charitable of interpretations, blockchain projects are... a disappointment. No practical use, used mostly as a Ponzi pyramidal investment or for ransomware, terrible for the environment, a haven for scammers and cultists...

Haskell is a beautiful language with a rich history, but that is sadly being corrupted by the blockchain craze, be it by delusion or opportunism. We joke that the motto of the language is "avoid success at all costs"; but if that's the price of success, maybe we were right...

IIRC, Cardano does not use proof of work, but proof of stake, so the major argument against Bitcoin (energy usage) does not apply. Also, the Cardano folks seem to care about actual science. Given that, I’m not sure why it should be bad for Haskell to be associated with it

Oh good! Greener! But still no practical use, except for ransomware and Ponzi schemes, and a community full of cultists, scammers, and opportunists. I don't see the appeal, frankly.

It seems you’ve clearly made up your mind, so this is probably pointless, but while all those exist and are a plague, it seems a bad take to me to assume they make up 100 % (or even the majority) of the community

Sorry for the knee-jerk reaction; while it's true that my tone was unnecessarily harsh, my mind is indeed made up: I currently do not see any benefit in any of those projects, and have had enough bad interactions with their communities that I do not wish to be involved further.
