Great thread and I agree with nearly all of the predictions in it

It's rather one sided, no? No mention of secondary effects. Eg country side living will become more expensive, cities cheaper, it will cause shifts in demographics, companies will find ways to exploit that, etc.

Psychologists are already warning that loneliness is a mental health epidemic. His predictions are very rosy.

haven't seen the product thing (thanks) and I see the trade-offs as well. I agree with your points regarding loneliness as well as that companies will try to exploit that. Nevertheless I think we will see a shift in this direction and (hopefully) learn from there
