I recently noticed how much more I liked doing presentations in a regular Zoom call where a bunch of people had switched on their video. Of course not comparable to the real thing, but infinitely better than talking into the void

As a visual person I miss the general decline of slides in calls. I need to juggle a lot of things in my head in a call.

Using a pretty clutterless virtual background also helps: more network and visual processing bandwidth left over for bobbing heads.

True! This always requires an effort. It鈥檚 very stupid that the presentation tools don鈥檛 provide a decent mode for remote presentations (presenting in a window only helps if you don鈥檛 use presenter views)
