I need a macOS mail app plugin that keeps me from sending mails to work addresses from my private email account, but quite possibly the market size for such a thing is 1

Another notch in the rusty "why I stick to Thunderbird" stick.

Market is muuuuuuuch bigger than that.

On Airmail you can set a modal to confirm / change the account you are sending from after you hit the send button. Maybe close enough ? - Helped me numerous times with the same issue.

I have a signature on my work account and nothing on my personal account. Appears in new messages or above replies and forwards. Acts as a handy reminder. In Mail you can also set the default account for new emails I think. I haven't been using it for a while.

This is scary as hell, but usually I noticed that if you are in the right inbox or folder, it will set the proper from email. Still, I always double check :)

I had the same problem - so embarrassing! Why on earth isn't this well-solved? On my phone, I set my default address to my work one, and use 'mark addresses' to colour non-work recipients red, to catch private emails from my work account. On MacOS I just use distinct clients :/

Nope! I’m totally in the market for that, too

Size is at leads 2 ^^ (conceptually, I don't use macOS mail app though, but have the same problem on Gmail)
