Do folks agree that it's polite to turn your camera off while in a video call?

I had to read twice to make sure I didn’t misunderstand. I think it’s polite to turn your camera *on* :)

The reason for the weird wording was I meant to ask about eating specifically but got distracted.

I see. OK, depending on what it is you’re eating and how good you’re at doing it, it might be not only polite, but required :)
