From my perspective, TFSVC tried their own version evolution of VSS (😑). Eventually they embedded git into the MS ecosystem which lead to M$FT land broad acceptance of git #ftw

Ah, then I misunderstood the diagram – I thought it was supposed to mean that TFSVC influenced git (which would have surprised me)
