I miss conferences, hallway discussions, conference parties, cities I don’t know, cities I know superficially, hotels and hotel bars, even airports and airport shopping and shitty WiFi connections.

Yeah, I'm stuck at home, by myself can't travel anywhere, not even to my property. This does suck if you're not with your family or in your home country

I hear you. Not all is bad though. We‘re in Crete, and it‘s the first time in 15 years that we‘re having a slow off-season vacation - even though it’s August!

It shows that there’s always a silver lining! It might be very hard to find - but it’s there! The current situation has made us appreciate what we take for granted - a good general leason: remember gratitude!

I would add community. My last business trip 2020 was to #dddeu conference in Amsterdam begin of feb. Met so many great folks of the ddd community.
