On this day August 12, 1981, @IBM released model 5150 Personal Computer. Starting at $1,565 ($4,401 in 2020) it had an Intel 8088 @ 4.77 MHz, 16 kB – 640 kB RAM and one 5.25 floppy disk. It entered into a market with: Apple, Commodore, Radio Shack, Atari.... First commercial:
