tbh, i‘m afraid that all this is rather part of a „darn, our communication is broken. let‘s find a tool to fix it. ah, new cool tool. everything will be fine ... darn, our communication ... (repeat)“ cycle. you always need new tools to feed this cycle of futility ... ;)

HEY is not a different channel tho, but just a different way to dealing with the channel. The scepticism is understandable. But relates a lot to any other. This mixer is mixing better than before. This packet manager is more convenient before. This web framework removes hazzle

I haven’t tried it out, but their whole point is that they’ll get rid of a lot of your email for you, without introducing an alternative channel

That's also my understanding. It's more like Vine was: a series of forcing functions that answer the question, "Why not just edit your YouTube video to 6 seconds? What's the point of Vine?" A Jira competitor that purges tix after 4 months no-matter-what is a different animal, z.B
