I’m looking for an iOS app that activates the camera and shows what it’s viewing, without showing any controls or icons. Does such a thing exist?

Using the iOS camera as in input device for the Mac during a Zoom call. Everything works perfectly except for those annoying controls.

Thanks, I am using ManyCam on the Mac, but ManyCam mobile seems to only support IP, which creates an unacceptable lag. Using USB, I can use CamTwist with ManyCam. I really just need a simple camera app that does absolutely nothing

Would you mind sharing how u do that? I might even life with the controls. Tried a couple of macOS program’s, but they did not appear in the clients such as slack, zoom etc. due to the os sandbox / driver signing issues.

Based on a hint by @gernotstarke, I made them appear in Zoom by removing the signature with codesign --remove zoom.us.app

I had good results with obs.ninja , obs and a virtual camera plugin for obs on windows. From my experience, IP is not the reason for the lag, but the frame buffer used to compensate for flaky connections. Maybe there is a setting to turn the buffer down
