it’s so good to talk to my friends in the US. Following published US politics I need an occasional reminder how nice the *people* are. From the outside it doesn’t feel like their government can possibly represent them. That’s troubling for a proud democracy.

True. Among my US friends there is no one who supports the orange embarrassment and his cronies, at least as far as I can tell. And the reason is not that I unfriended those who do :)

Same for me and my US friends. However, I don‘t think, the people we know are representative.
