These lessons are only a decade+ old, so it's unsurprising that most in business are unaware .... focus on users & user needs, where to build / not to build API based ecosystems Maybe the map will help this thread from rebuilding the wheel again -

Don’t worry, I’m well aware of your work, and a few of my colleagues are outright fans. I also violently agree a decade is practically nothing.

Ah, good to hear. Well unfortunately, repeating lessons in business for a decade or more until they finally sink in is .... the norm. Good threat btw, all the points are valid just it's sad we're still having to do this. Next up ... why Agile doesn't work everywhere.
