I think this is undoubtedly, 100%, a good thing, and I think Gates deserves a lot of credit for it. If people are lucky enough to end up being billionaires, this is how they should act

Also super interesting application of concurrent set based engineering - the US did exactly the same during the Manhattan project - built three different ways of enriching Uranium because didn’t know if any would work.
