One of my main problems with Slack (as opposed to email) is that I can’t seem to find a reasonable way to deal with messages later. The reminder approach doesn’t do it for me at all. How do you handle todos?

I learned to hate and avoid that with emails, trying it briefly with Slack reminded me why

I think I accidentally found a solution for me. I type some characters immediately then leave the chat. This way the message appears in the Drafts section at the top. :/
