One of my main problems with Slack (as opposed to email) is that I can’t seem to find a reasonable way to deal with messages later. The reminder approach doesn’t do it for me at all. How do you handle todos?

I really like the „unread messages“ function. But it would be great to have the same with messages marked as „todo“.

I use Trello for todos with a link to slack or E-mail if need to.

I copy the task into my paper notebook. When I’m not near said notebook, I use Remind Me Tomorrow, then batch copy tasks over the next morning

I ask people to send me an e-mail.

There is no zapier integration available that would allow you to convert a message into a task in your todo list tool?

Slack yourself the todos

I find a suitable solution for me is a Slack Action that triggers on an Emoji - e.g.🔁- when I want to read it later; then the action will send a message with the link to myself. I will read those messages later. Additional benefit: People see, that you noticed the message.
