Try as I might, I find it hard to figure out why this would be sexist, especially the first example. Do you want to elaborate or point me to an explanation?

The way I use it is to describe exactly those irrational aspects. I would never use a comparison to female sex attributes, but surely being able to relate or understand the metaphor of some tech being “sexy” is not gender or sex related?
