I’ve uploaded the slides for yesterday’s anti single-page app rant, bravely presented at a JavaScript conference (including some excellent slides stolen from @moonbeamlabs with permission) #jsdays speakerdeck.com/stilkov/2019… innoq.com/de/talks/2019/10/j…
Der dritte Tag auf den #JSDays geht zu Ende mit einem Get-Together und einer weiteren spannenden Night Session mit @stilkov zu dem Thema "Wider die SPA-Fixierung: JS – gern, aber bitte mit Augenmaß"!

I believe the SPA dominance is a side-effect of the specialization into front-end and back-end developers.
Btw. have you looked into Phoenix Live Views? It is an interesting approach to push web apps without JS to a new level:

You're welcome.
There is currently also a competition running on cool demos with Live View and without JS:

Hm. Reading through the blog post, it seems like a whole lot of awesome engineering went into it, but I’m not sure there are that many cases where the resulting complexity is justified. But it seems to work progressively, which is of course great.
