I’ve encountered very annoying and outright audacious behaviour of exhibitors at conferences in the past – mostly related to recruiting. If a conference is truly dedicated to content and wants to ensure a pleasant environment I think a CoC on such topics is a very good idea.

I would understand that, but this is not what seems to be happening here. It seems you’re simply not allowed to mention that you’re hiring.

Maybe that other companies are afraid of sending their employees to this conference. Heard this from a customer of us.
