I’m pretty sure there’s something like Amdahl’s law, but for decentralized, autonomous teams working on something in parallel. But if there is, it’s awfully hard to find. Any hints?

Do you need an extra law for this? Amdahl‘s law is based on that certain activities can only be done sequentially. If this also happens for human activities, Amdahl‘s law will also apply here.

I can use it, sure, but it would be interesting to see if there’s something already established for this specific purpose.

I like the Universal Scalability Law as an extension of Amdahl’s Law that includes the coordination overhead too.
