21 devices in my house are connected to my UniFi wireless network; my macOS Mojave laptop, which was device #22 until last week, has stopped being able to connect. With more than 30 years of IT experience, I have absolutely no idea what to do about it

Does your router allow enough IPs to be given away? Sometimes the range is set too small.

I freaked out couple of weeks ago, because my new notebook was connected to the wifi, but it got some really strange IP assigned AND didn‘t have access to the internet. Somtimes when other devices were not connected the IP was right. So this could have been the issue.
