I'm interested in hearing about any agency teams that have introduced 10% time for dev teams. I've been told for years that is financially entirely unfeasible with an agency model but I want to know more about how others make it work (and convince their directors)! #LeadDevLondon

I‘m not sure what constitutes an „agency“ but cologne-intelligence.de has Open Spaces every 2 weeks and cologne-intelligence.de might also have 10% time /cc @stilkov

Thanks Corinna! I'll take a look. In my (limited) experience I consider clients + billable hours = agency work.

At @INNOQ, we invest a significant amount of time for non-billable work. Company offsites alone (6 per year, 4 of them 2 days, 2 of them 3 days) account for 14 days. We also have lots of internal workshops that people organize themselves, and a lot of additional slack time

It‘s quite expensive, very hard to introduce unless you do it from the very beginning, and absolutely worth it

I totally agree with @stilkov, it‘s totally worth it! @holisticon we have an 80/20 rule where the Friday is reserved for our own interests and socialising with colleagues. In my first year I grew more as a developer than in 3-5 years in my old job
