I loved the original 11 inch MacBook Air more than any other computer I ever had. I’d still use it if it had a Retina display. What’s your recommendation from Apple’s current line-up that comes closest?

My problem is I’ve got a retina iMac on my desk and find it intolerable to switch between retina and non-retina

I am just poking fun at the silly Trademark. My old NEC feature phone in Japan had close to 400ppi in 2008 when the iPhone display looked like it's powered by a VIC-20 :-) almost every laptop these days will do 2560x1440 without the marketing label
