Nice post! I really like the server-side-centered approach. However, we feel that the developer experience of server-side-rendering (e.g. via thymeleaf) is not that great (tooling, type safety, autocompletion, template syntax). What are your recommendations?

That sounds promising but I guess it's still in an incubator state. What do you recommend for production use as of today?

Yes. Although we’re using it in production in some projects, it’s very much in incubation. I’d still go with go with it (or Thymeleaf et al) as I consider the downsides less important than the benefits of clean SSR
