When I complained about how ill-defined "simple" was, a lot of people pointed me to Hickey's "simple made easy". Here's a challenge about that: Provide code that is simple but not easy. Then provide code in the same language, doing the same thing, that is easy but not simple.

I think that separating those concepts, or even defining and identifying each concept on its own, is a lot harder than people think.

I agree, but I think that most people confidently argue the two without having a clear categorization beforehand. Thinking of how people argue complectedness is bad except that it's insanely simple and useful in the real world
