You are part of this “open source” group. Isn’t that a “red flag”, too? I think you’re jumping to conclusions here, unless you know a lot more about the guy than I do. If so, pointing me to some links would be much appreciated.

I'm not saying I haven't participated in perpetuating toxic culture and I'm not saying that guy did either. I'm just seeing tech luminaries uncritically seeing this as "cool" without spending a single thought on why that culture might have been (and still is) problematic.
