January 1994. NCSA Mosaic on all supported platforms and WebExplorer for OS/2. The first version of Netscape Navigator landed late that year. We called WebExplorer “WebDestroyer” because it was such a terrible browser.

A few months ago, we had some mysterious bug reports. Turns out that some users at the company had Lotus Notes as default browser...

Oh yeah. I'm familiar with that piece of work from that same era where we had OS/2 everywhere. We just didn't officially test our sites in it, although if we had something egregiously wrong, we would hear about it and fix it.
