Really weird that people keep blaming Facebook here. Facebook allows companies to give them data about who they want to target with ads.
The fact apps are giving FB your medical data so they can target you with medical ads is about the apps violating your privacy not Facebook.
Facebook is sucking up extremely sensitive, personal medical data from collaborating apps, even when users aren't on Facebook.
It's hard to be surprised by Facebook after the endless avalanche of scandals, but this is still shockingly outrageous. wsj.com/articles/you-give-ap…
