You’re right JSON fans. Of course this is a beautiful way to write a query language in JSON over HTTP. What was I thinking?

That sucks, and it would suck in XML, too. The alternative is either a nice specific syntax (à la SQL) or an API that creates this or something equivalent under the hood, in which case it doesn’t matter

At least xml would give me a schema that I can visually validate... yes a JSON schema could be validated by an IDE... but sometimes I write my queries in vim
