Sure, I don’t doubt that. I was looking for something that at least makes an attempt at being rational, not “Stupid foreigners make me so angry! I know, I’ll shoot myself in the foot! That’ll teach them!”

According to the #brexit model, I have built a really high fence in the garden and hired security guards to improve my relation with the neighbors.

It does not. It is pushing an agenda. The EU has been made a scape goat of poverty and austerity in the UK by the media and the government. This is more of that rhetoric. Unfortunately it is a powerful message for many.
