Yes, +1000, about a thousand times. Stop treating someone’s opinion as gospel because they’ve repeated it a lot of times, and on the right channels.
As someone who has written a book (6 of them in fact), and spoken a lot on a (lot of) topic(s) (like literally thousands of times on hundreds of topics)....
... yeah. Not gospel. Not even always right. Challenge. Dissent. Trust but verify. I am human and I make mistakes.
