"High performance (especially over HTTP2)" as a "pro" for REST? That's nuts. One request is faster than many requests in hypermedia cascade

it's the most accurate i've seen tho. most are awful RPC-over-REST strawmen
I wrote about this a while ago (in German though). Most people think REST means Objects as Resources (OAR). In reality it is much more that this ORM over HTTP. maibornwolff.de/sites/defaul…

Any thoughts on how OData fits in here? I often see it compared to GraphQL, in trying to solve some of the same problems.
