"High performance (especially over HTTP2)" as a "pro" for REST? That's nuts. One request is faster than many requests in hypermedia cascade

I wrote about this a while ago (in German though). Most people think REST means Objects as Resources (OAR). In reality it is much more that this ORM over HTTP.

Any thoughts on how OData fits in here? I often see it compared to GraphQL, in trying to solve some of the same problems.
