you're a great guy, and you're the one who brought nazis into this, not me :) Remember, you're calling _me_ a crazy extremist, I never called you anything. I just pointed out that there are some similarities in the argumentation. You're not under attack. Not from me. Sleep well
Maybe we need trigger warnings before saying the word "nazi" so people can mute discussion before they risk getting offended. *trollface*
...solution. Never invoke Nazis for less than genocidal intent.

I disagree with that. This isn't a binary issue where either you are 100% a nazi or 0% nazi. 100% communist or 0% communist. We have to be able to recognise traits associated with both in time to turn away from them. It's a balancing act.

I care abiut the reality of biology, but that was not the issue under discussion. The issue was whether we should assume women, biologically, are less interested in computing, instead of actually listening to them when they explain why they are staying away
However often the claim is repeated that, on average, women are less interested in programming due to biological reasons, it doesn’t become any more true. And if you can’t see why the claim itself is problematic, stop claiming you’re the one who’s being rational.

I wasn’t responding to your tweet specifically, even though it’s pretty tough work to parse your tweets as implying something else. But if you agree with what I wrote, I’m not sure what we’re debating.
