So you do not observe growing support for right-wing, populist parties? And no increase in authoritarian governing styles in Hungary, Poland, Turkey, and the US?

I wrote “growing signs”, you seem to have read “already there”. If you think everything’s fine with the Trump administration, and there’s nothing to worry about, especially not with regards to nationalism and racism, we’ll just have to disagree.

Honest question: Do you think Trump believes the US would be better off with him as its authoritarian leader? Do you think he believes democracy is superior?
E.g. his open admiration of authoritarian leaders, his unfounded claims of illegal voting, his stated belief to be above the law, his questioning of the patriotism of anyone criticizing him; most recently, his statements about the mass murderer governing North Korea
