Agreed, Heise trolls suck and the comments have always been, and still are, a fucking disaster. (I’ve been a target of these, too, as have been many of my colleagues.) I fail to see how these things are comparable, though.
That does not at all mean that I agree with the stupid regulation regarding advertising, mandatory consultation, or the stigmatization that comes with it. But a shit show … no, I disagree
I hate the German law in this regard, but there is more nuance to this than this sentence makes it seem. Women can get a safe abortion, performed by professionals, with good care before and after, at little or no cost.
Where’s the disrespect? One might, with the same or more justification, claim you disrespect members of another community. And you might want to consider that if someone continuously disagrees with you, a possible explanation is that you’re just, you know, _wrong_.
