I’m sure you do, as do I. Avoiding it as a sponsor is not something our industry could currently do, nor do I think it should. At least a little bit of good comes out of it that way ;)
I often tweet about this, and while I am a software architect, I only have basic knowledge of ML. No one has ever felt compelled to explain it to me though.
It’s a lost cause, @jnfrd – one of the constants of the IT world is that it’s utterly impossible to ever make a member of the Spring community (which I respect and like) agree that it might sometimes add unnecessary complexity :)

I think that Elon Musk is (sometimes) great. I also think he’s (way too often) an asshole and (occasionally) incredibly stupid. Weird. It’s almost as if people are complicated and can be multiple different things at once. Admiring might be just as wrong as hating them, maybe?
