My advice would be for the men who criticize this to repeatedly bash their heads against their desks until their tolerance for human voices improves

I’m not equating old with bad at all. Some books, e.g. @ghohpe’s own EAI patterns, age pretty well, some don’t.

Depends on what you’re looking for. Some of the newer DDD books, e.g. by Vaugn Vernon, are quite good. Otherwise, most of the pattern stuff is a little old (e.g. PoEAA, the five POSA books)

Be that as it may, even if he is a rapist or just a general asshole, he still shouldn’t be tried in the US for doing journalist work, however badly. Bogus treason charges are the only thing I’d find defending him against justified.

Agreed on all points

Doesn’t that depend on what it is they defend him against? I thoroughly dislike him as a human being and as a political actor, yet I wouldn’t want him extradited to the US

This is just great. One of my favorite artists
This TED talk by @abstractsunday is just what I needed to see today. Absolutely delightful! ted.com/talks/christoph_niem…

Guys, check out Abby’s tweets and despair. I have no idea how anyone can think this is appropriate or OK. (Or be so dumb to believe it could ever, you know, actually work, for that matter)
some of y'all are in my replies arguing about this stuff. there is no excuse for it, so stop making them. act right.

This is a wonderfully opinionated security guide for normal people. I’d love to get some background on the individual decisions.

For the curious, here's what that training looks like. It's nothing you haven't heard, except possibly for the part about setting up security keys. It will offer you a lot of protection over the status quo. techsolidarity.org/resources…

I search and read my own tweets for stuff I linked to. I read others’ tweets when they are retweeted, or turn up in search results.
