It’d be fascinating to check whether removing it on the server might improve performance even further.
Removing client-side React.js (but keeping it on the server) resulted in a 50% performance improvement on our landing page

No, on the contrary. I believe that’s the only environment that allows for standard-based integration comparable to the one in the backend

I prefer to rely on plain Web integration. IIRC, Udi’s approach relies on shared components in a GUI app.
