Conference organizers, even if you organize a community event, there is really never a good reason to not give your speakers a free ticket.

The correct label for a system with an unreliable, distributed, cascaded, RPC-style network call-stack is “badly designed”, not “RESTful”.

I do agree it comes with significant cost.
