@bodil Have you taken a look at Frege yet? I’ve only given it a cursory glance, but it looks interesting.
@bodil I do think the startup time is a big deal, though, as it tends to change the tool landscape, from Unix-y stuff to bloated IDEs

@bodil I’m not in love with the JVM, and couldn’t care less for Oracle, but people I respect tell me technically, no other VM comes close.
