@maybebuggy I don’t know anybody who’d call that “a fancy JS framework”. (But yes, it’s entirely possible to do things without jQuery, too.)
Hardest-to-sell web dev truth: Not only do you not need a fancy JS framework to build a good web app, it often makes it harder to do so.
