@jon_moore I’m not entirely sure, but I think yes.

@robsmallshire @tedneward More experiments would be great, I agree. I’m just not sure there can be many meaningful ones.

@tedneward @xaibeha And we all know how much the experts agree in *that* field :-)

@tedneward @xaibeha Experiments in psychology are often very small, yet meaningful. In SW development, this seems more like economics

Replying to @tedneward
@tedneward So I guess we better stop doing that Agile thing, or OO, or FP, stop using patterns, don’t do this SOLID stuff, …

In fact, there’s very little evidence about pretty much anything we believe to be true in software development.

Agreed, research “showing” 10x developer productivity differences is flawed or non-existent. “No proof” does not mean it’s not true, though.

Replying to @niggi
@niggi Gibt es irgendwo einen Text, der mir erklärt, warum man „N-Wort“ schreibt? Ist eine ernstgemeinte Frage.

Same here :-) RT @ewolff: Enjoyed cohosting the @innoQ #Microservices training with @stilkov - thanks to all for the great discussions!

@springrod @ewolff True. Also, sometimes they get blamed fairly due to vendors over-promising :-)
Having a lot of fun doing a microservices training with @ewolff. One of the best things when a topic is “hot” is extra-smart audiences.

@bsletten I figured it had to be something like that :)
Replying to @delabassee
@delabassee I think it’s quite easy: @AdamBien always gets the biggest room the venue has :-)

@bsletten Very cute indeed ;-) My chance to wonder, though: What language is ”@FreyjaDenHund”?
