@robsmallshire Arguably not the same thing, as a campus context is typically public and not comparable to a commercial or community event.
As organizers have complete power to change their own rules, they also have to take complete responsibility for the outcome.

I’ve changed my mind about this racists-at-conferences thing. It’s tempting to only look at conduct at the conference, but it’s misguided.

Maybe as conference organizers we shouldn‘t even try to come up with a set of rules, just not invite or accept people we think are assholes.
