@natpryce @ewolff But PCs were so much easier than servers :-) I also recall sharing files on network servers being a common approach in C/S

@natpryce @ewolff True, definitely common. I may be wrong, but in my recollection it appeared as a way to address the sharing issue.
@natpryce @ewolff In fact, most of the time logic was just in the client tier (which doesn’t mean it couldn’t have been in a separate layer)
