@markusvoelter I don’t think so, does itemis self-identify as an OSS company? I’d still call it a consultancy. But you know the details.

@toredk Basecamp is very profitable if they are to be believed, but they do a SaaS model. Not an OSS company, unless you count Facebook, too
@toredk Neo and Typesafe: I don’t think so, both are VC-backed and highly unlikely to be profitable (probably not even their goal yet).
@_lennart Don’t they have more than 100 employees? I doubt they can be profitable (nor would they probably want to be)
