@assaf @ashedryden I find the cost of having to care about Google in the first place much worse than the SSL aspect.

@assaf @ashedryden What did *I* say about SEO? Wasn’t it Google who said that, and shouldn’t they know?

@assaf @ashedryden I strongly disagree the divide is the motivation. And I don’t see why SSL would be the one thing to pick.

@ashedryden @assaf Individuals who know how to build a website are better off then those who don’t (and can’t afford to hire someone). So?

@ashedryden Not at all comparable. The cost of an SSL certificate is absolutely ridiculous compared to what you’d have to pay e.g. Comcast.

@neal4d Yes. Apple completely screwed their users with current version n, which can’t open presentations created with n-2.
Replying to @jevdemon
@jevdemon Not at all if people want the Kindle version more than the paper version. Price is almost always only tangentially related to cost

@adambien I don’t necessarily favor JSPs, but completely agree server-side templating is perfectly fine. See e.g. thymeleaf.org/doc/thvsjsp.ht…
