Agreement seems to be AtomPub hasn't caught on because of XML. So why is there no standardized JSON variant?

@jessitron @jcoglan Exactly. If you don’t ask, they’ll typically not remind you. There are exceptions, though, e.g. QCon/GOTO AFAIK.
