Too bad we don’t hear @timbray’s opinion on Google Reader and the role of RSS/Atom at Google

Endlich Timur Vermes’ „Er ist wieder da” gelesen: Tiefstschwarz und ziemlich gut.

@raganwald He's just great. And the show is among the best things I've ever seen on TV.
Replying to @SeanTAllen
@SeanTAllen It's nice and unobtrusive, as we like it: roca-style.org/

This seems nice: Javascript forms validation with Parsley: parsleyjs.org/ #rocastyle

+1 RT @steveklabnik: House of Cards: 👍
@steveklabnik Entirely true, but he's not alone in being non-Google in that WG.
@steveklabnik I agree (see my thoughts here: innoq.com/blog/st/2012/11/so…), but e.g. HTTP 2 does away with the TLS requirement
@steveklabnik I don't see how that is what's happening. I'll trust @mnot on that.
@steveklabnik I think HTTP 2, which improves upon SPDY, makes (or is going to make) a lot of sense. What is it that makes you unhappy?
@steveklabnik That said, I'm not at all a Google apologist. I think they're about as evil as Microsoft was in the 90s/early 2000s.
@steveklabnik I would strongly agree if they'd not been keen on taking part in HTTP 2 standardization
@steveklabnik Interesting. Seems to me HTTP 2.0 will replace SPDY (even though it's based on it), which means everyone will profit.
@steveklabnik I wouldn't include SPDY in that list.

@halfbyte @jcfischer We have a very complex mixture. I would love to host more stuff externally, with decent payment and privacy guarantees

Replying to @halfbyte
@halfbyte Agreed. The fact that the choice is either self-hosting or US-style non-privacy is very disturbing.

@mrreynolds Wait for your apps to become updated to support direct subscriptions/OPML import/some other sync service?
