Replying to @mosesjones
@mosesjones That I fully agree with.
Replying to @mosesjones
@mosesjones I meant: The fact that lots of stuff on the Web isn't REST doesn't invalidate the argument that the Web proves it works

Replying to @mosesjones
@mosesjones I believe we already went through that straw man discussion multiple times.

Replying to @ctford
@ctford Yes. Yet IMO, URI templates can be both bad (in docs) and good (in hypermedia responses)
Replying to @SeanTAllen
@SeanTAllen Nice. And common.
Replying to @rodolfodpk
@rodolfodpk I'm honestly surprised that user doesn't exist :-)
@janthomae You mean I should do some presentations, write a bunch of articles, or maybe a book?
Replying to @mosesjones
@mosesjones That would very much depend on your Web app. If it's done the way I prefer (see roca-style.org) it's not a misconception

Replying to @old_nobody
@old_nobody I'm in fact no longer as sure as I was of this. It's an interesting discussion when you approach stuff from the hypermedia angle
1
Replying to @dierken
@dierken @georgberky Yes, by far the most common one (even in this thread)

1
Replying to @old_nobody
@old_nobody How would you phrase that as a misconception? And is it a common one?
2
Replying to @hemju
@hjuskewycz @vlad_koshelev True. The limitations of 140 chars …
Replying to @hemju
@hjuskewycz @vlad_koshelev I thought the #notrest tag made the context quite clear :-)
1
You can tell whether something is RESTful or not by simply looking at the URI #notrest
1
Replying to @vlad_koshelev
@vlad_koshelev That caused physical pain. Thanks.
Replying to @mamund
@mamund Somewhat related, I've also seen "we're doing HTTP + JSON, a.k.a. REST" #notrest
1
Replying to @hhariri
@hhariri I wonder what's with the REST/CQRS incompatibility belief. Where does that come from?
3
Replying to @tomayac
@tomayac Well … as long as it's just the very first URL, I'm kind of undecided :-)
